Donations allow Forum access
We request donations of $100 or more to the VETSPAC PAC. This donation is required to gain access to the forums, and allows us to make PAC contributions.
VETSPAC is organized under section 527 of the tax code and is considered to be a "political organization," defined as a Political Action Committee (PAC). It is organized and operated primarily for the purpose of influencing the selection, nomination or appointment of any individual to any federal, state or local public office, or office in a political organization. All political committees that register and file reports with the FEC are 527 organizations, but not all 527 organizations are required to file with the FEC. Some file reports with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). For additional information on 527 organizations, please visit the IRS web site.
How can I Make My Voice Heard?
By making a contribution to VETSPAC, you will be joining with other veterans to support meaningful veteran's legislation and those Senators and Representatives who really do support such legislation. Your contribution will mean your voice will be heard on Capitol Hill.
Why Should I Get Involved?
There can be no doubt that the actions of Congress have an impact on the daily lives of veterans.
In 2005 legislation to eliminate phase-in of 100% CRDP was initiated and approved with little assistance from the military associations or Veterans Services Organizations. From 2005 until December 2008 VETSPAC was a primary force in initiating CRSC for our Wounded warrriors. In the FY 2008 NDAA this legislation was approved and funded.
With the number of veterans in Congress dwindling to record lows and the lack of actual lobbying activity by the legacy VSOs on Capitol Hill, a powerful VETSPAC is your best opportunity to make realistic legislative gains for veterans.
